All of these parts
I have inside
Some exposed
Others I hide

But all, it seems, are quite distressed
A wash of death,
A hectic mess

Haphazardly strewn, they are, at best
inside a body
without rest

a mind of swirls
clouds of mope
devils, danger,
fear, cut-throat

Amidst it all, a smile facade
no brick, no stone
but merely straw

loveless it seems,
weak at best
desperate to die,
a waking crest

simile. metaphor.
what all may be
a treasure trove

  1. I don’t know why they don’t. You’re so talented. Maybe you’re not tagging it right when you post?

PS: you should add me on Instagram, if you want too. I have one now 😀 I could help w/ getting you some more views. Hopefully lol

    1. Lol I tag it poetry and poems and all kinds of stuff. I have no idea what works. I mean, I write for me, but it’s nice to get feedback sometimes or to know someone could connect with your work, if that makes sense. I suppose it shouldn’t matter. Thank you for being so supportive! Hooray! You finally got the gram of instant! 🙂

      1. Haha you’re cute. And, that’s true, some people don’t write to share anyway. It’s mostly to express. Hmm… weird… I’d have to check you tags. There are other popular ones you can add too. Your talents deserve the spotlight though! You’re like actually really good lol
